I was delighted with the Wicker Pet Carrier....even more so my cat, who got in without any encouragement and loves snoozing in it!
The item has amply fulfilled our greatest hopes and expectations. The design is very pleasing and appears to be well made. It sits quite happily anywhere in the house and does not look at all unsightly. Our cat loves to nip in and out of the basket when he chooses and likes to rest his head and paws on the circular doorway whilst peeping out at will. The included cushion is comfortable and of good quality.
The size of the igloo is just about right to carry around and fits in an average car with no difficulty. The woven-in carrying handle on the top is very convenient. The weight and balance of the item is fine. A steel grill door is included and this can be removed completely if desired. This whole door arrangement works well and looks the part.
Basically the wicker carrier has visual appeal and an element of timeless class which the alternative rectangular plastic crates conspicuously lack.
In essence, purrfect...
Bought a wicker cat carrier basket and could not be happier in any way
Lovely made, quality materials and nice padded cushion included.
Arrived in good time and well made for the price. We ordered the extra/large size as a night bed for our small jack russell. She’s used to being shut in a crate at night and we wanted to maintain that but in a smaller, more attractive unit. There was no hesitation - she grabbed her bedding and teddy and took them straight in to settle down. You can see she’s really cosy in there. There has been a bit of chewing of the stray bits of wicker on the inside but this hasn’t undermined the structure. With a bit of tinkering, we've got the gate to open/close easily and found we don't need the peg. Overall, we are pleased and she’s happy.
