I have to say, I wasn't impressed with the quality control of the company as there was a defect in the casket I ordered. It's not as though these things can be ordered in advance either, as one normally buys one when the need (and timing) arises. When I asked them for a partial refund, I was told they wouldn't be able to do that and they offered to send a exchange/replacement. Trouble was, as I mentioned, the need was urgent and it wasn't as though we could wait for another one to arrive. It was disappointing. I had to insist they gave me the partial refund and in the end they did agree. It is frustrating when companies fail to notice quality issues with their products, something they assured me they do - yet I still received a moderately defective product. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers are entitled to remedies when goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described. Additionally, under distance selling regulations, sellers are obligated to provide fair resolutions to issues arising from online purchases. In this case, the item did not meet the required quality standards, and requesting a partial refund was a lawful and reasonable solution. Their initial refusal to honour this lawful right was frustrating and unnecessary, causing avoidable frustration and upset at a time when prompt resolution (not to mention some compassion) was needed.

The wicker coffin was absolutely lovely for our beloved dog Bella. It had a nice white inlay with a nice little pillow for her head. It was delivered very quickly direct to the vet. I do think the sizes need to be checked as I found it about 10cm bigger in dimensions than quoted.

We were so pleased with the quality of this item, and the lining and pillow were special touches for such a sad occasion. Our baby girl deserved to be laid to rest in something fit for a VIP because to us she was. We chose the XL for our Labrador and it was just the right size as we wanted to bury her with her personalised blanket and puppy toy. She is now resting in her favourite garden, somewhere I can talk to her every day.

Quick delivery of this quality product we used to bury my beautiful big boy German Shepherd giving him a dignified resting place. Vet also commented on the quality of the product. Have been providing details of this company to others and I'm sure I will purchase from Prestige Wicker again.
